I knew it should come to this mighty kind of trucks, when photos from Algeria started to appear! A really cool one. What such prime movers are usually used for in your country? Is Berliet still represented on the desert roads?
I realized first that this type of vehicles is common in Sahara region after watching the movie Sweat (Sueurs), where both trucks and the desert look incredibly spectacular.

Other common similar trucks to this one in Algeria are: Kenworth 953, Kenworth C-500, MOL (made in Belgium), there is a lot of them in the Algerian Sahara, but unfortunately I didn't visited the regions where these trucks are common, I only found this one with another C-500 in a northern region which is rarely seen there.

Berliet trucks are still found in all around the country, but not the biggest ones, only regular models.
